Orders
Can I return my order?
We accept returns within 30 days of delivery on unworn, unaltered items in original packaging. To start a return, email us with your order number and reason. Sale items are final sale.
Can I cancel my order?
We process orders quickly, please contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel. We can't guarantee cancellation once an order has been dispatched, but we'll always do our best.
I received the wrong item.
We're so sorry! Email us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and a photo of what you received. We'll sort it out right away.
I received a faulty item.
We stand behind the quality of every piece. If something arrives damaged or develops a fault, email us within 30 days with your order number and photos. We'll offer a replacement or full refund.
Shipping
When will my order be shipped?
Orders are generally processed within 1-2 business days, however, as Basic Beach is a one woman operation lead times may vary. If you need your order in a hurry, drop a message or email and I will try my best. You'll receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking once your order is on its way.
How long does delivery take?
Australia: Standard 3–7 business days ($9.95) · Express 1–3 business days ($12.95) · Free standard shipping on orders over $99.
International: Approximately 7–14 business days ($25 AUD flat rate).
How do I track my order?
Once your order ships, you'll receive a tracking link via email. You can also track your order directly through Australia Post or our carrier's website using the tracking number provided.
Jewellery
What is your jewellery made of?
Majority of Basic Beach pieces are crafted from premium stainless steel with an 18K PVD gold coating. This combination is durable, skin-safe, and built to last. Some products may vary in material so always read the product description to see if it's the right fit for you.
Is it waterproof?
Yes! Our jewellery is as waterproof and tarnish-resistant as you can get. You can wear it in the shower, ocean, or pool without worry. We still recommend removing pieces before applying perfume or harsh chemicals to keep them looking their best.
Is it hypoallergenic?
Absolutely. Our stainless steel base is hypoallergenic and nickel-free, making it suitable for sensitive skin.
How do I care for my jewellery?
Our pieces are low-maintenance by design. To keep them gleaming: wipe with a soft cloth after wear, store in the pouch provided, and avoid prolonged contact with perfume, sunscreen, or chlorine.
Do you offer sizing guidance?
Yes, each product page includes sizing information and tips. For bracelets and necklaces, we recommend measuring your wrist or neck and adding 1–2 cm for a comfortable fit. Still unsure? Reach out and we'll help.
Do you offer gift wrapping?
Every Basic Beach order arrives beautifully packaged in a colourful BB pouch, no extra charge. If you'd like to include a personalised message, add it in the notes field at checkout.
