Hi, I’m Dannika, the founder, designer, buyer, content creator, packer... (you get it) behind Basic Beach.

I started Basic Beach in 2024 because I wanted to create the kind of jewellery I actually wanted to wear, bold, colourful and a little bit extra, without having to take it off every time I went to the beach or did a work out.

The materials I use are also really important to me personally. I have sensitive skin and am prone to skin reactions, so I know how frustrating it is to find jewellery you love, only to have it leave your skin irritated or something you can’t comfortably wear. That’s a big part of why I started designing, creating and selling jewellery (I was also really bored of the same copy and paste beige brands)

What started as a little side hustle quickly became something so much bigger to me. Basic Beach is a creative outlet, a business I’ve built from the ground up and a little piece of my personality that I get to share with you.

So if you’re a little bit extra, love colour, hate minimalism and believe life is too short to save your favourite pieces for a “special occasion” you’re in the right place.
